For owners whose solar installer disappeared

Your solar company vanished. Your solar didn't.

rescue.solar watches your system through the monitoring it already has, sends a real person when something breaks, and fights the manufacturer's warranty paperwork for you. And we bill $0 in any month your system isn't producing. If your solar doesn't work, we don't get paid.

The quiet months nobody noticed

You are not the only one

When an installer dies, the homeowner inherits the mess

Hundreds of solar companies have closed since 2022. Their customers, millions of systems' worth, were left with equipment on the roof and no phone number that answers. Here's what that looks like, from owners who lived it:

9 calls

Nobody would touch it

One owner phoned nine service companies before finding a single one willing to work on her brand of inverter, at a premium, weeks out.

6–8 weeks

Down all summer

Peak-season outages that a monitored system would flag in a day went unnoticed for weeks. Production, savings, and renewable-energy credits gone.

Inverters fail within 15 years

This isn't bad luck. Inverters are the working part of a solar system, and a large field survey found 34% fail at least once by year 15.

How it works

No new hardware. No promises you can't verify.

01

We connect to the monitoring you already own

SolarEdge, Enphase, and most major brands have a data feed. With your permission, we plug into it, usually the same week. No roof visit.

02

We watch it and prove it

Every member gets a monthly production report. If output drops, you hear from us within 2 business days, not whenever you happen to check.

03

When something breaks, we run the play

Licensed local electricians at member rates, priority scheduling, and we file the manufacturer's warranty claim so the replacement part ships free when it's covered.

Founding member pricing, first 100 spots, Arizona

Two ways in. Start where your system is.

If your system is dark right now, start with Solar Rescue. If it's producing and you just want someone watching it, start with Uptime. We're launching this fall and locking founding prices for life.

System is down

Solar Rescue

$500flat, one time

  • $500 flat to get a dead system diagnosed and running. No hourly surprises.
  • We start with a remote inspection alongside you. If that fixes it, we refund $400.

Fixed on the remote call: you pay $100.

Needs a visit: $500 covers dispatch, warranty paperwork, and up to 2 hours of labor.

Most repairs finish inside those 2 hours.

What happens

  • Remote inspection with you on the phone, same week
  • $400 refunded if the remote session solves it
  • A trusted local repairman dispatched if it doesn't
  • We file the manufacturer warranty claim so covered parts ship free
  • We pay for up to 2 hours of repair labor, which covers most jobs
  • Anything beyond that, we negotiate the lowest rate we can get you

$400 back if the remote inspection solves it. Nothing runs on your card until we've confirmed your system and scheduled you.

System is producing

Uptime

$19/month

  • $0 any month your system isn't producing. Billing stops automatically when output stops.
  • Half of every payment goes into a repair wallet that's yours. It pays labor first and transfers with your house.

Worst-case year: $228.

About $114 of it lands in your repair wallet, and stays yours.

Months your system doesn't produce: $0.

Everything included

  • 24/7 production monitoring + a monthly report, every month
  • Response within 2 business days, priority scheduling
  • Licensed local electricians at member rates
  • Manufacturer warranty claims filed for you
  • Repair wallet balance transfers with your home
  • Cancel anytime

Fully refundable. Cancel before onboarding and your card is removed.

rescue.solar is a service membership, not insurance or a warranty. Repairs are performed by licensed local electricians; parts under manufacturer warranty ship free from the manufacturer, and out-of-warranty parts and labor beyond the included 2 hours are billed at the discounted rates we negotiate for you. Reserving saves your card without charging it; billing begins only after your system's onboarding is complete.

Fair questions

Asked by people who've been burned before

My last company said they'd monitor and never did. Why believe you?

Because you'll see it. Every member gets a monthly production report whether anything happened or not, and our revenue stops the moment your system does. We built the pricing so that not watching would cost us, not you.

Which brands do you support?

SolarEdge and Enphase systems connect fastest. That covers most home solar installed in the last decade. Other brands, and systems whose monitoring is dead, can usually be brought online with a small retrofit meter; we'll confirm before you pay anything.

What if my system is already broken?

We check during onboarding. Existing problems get a straight member-rate quote first, so you know the cost before joining. No surprises for you, no surprises for the membership.

Is this insurance?

No. It's a service membership: monitoring, priority dispatch, member pricing, and warranty advocacy. The repair wallet is your own money set aside for repairs. Not a premium. Not a claim to be denied.

Who actually shows up at my house?

Licensed, insured local electricians we vet, schedule, and stand behind. You get the appointment and the fixed member rate before anyone is dispatched.

What happens to my deposit and wallet if I leave?

Deposits are fully refundable until onboarding completes. Wallet balances can be spent down on service, and they transfer to the new owner if you sell your home. The system's care record goes with the house.
